[[strong]]Eligibility for the Role[[/strong]][[br]][[br]]
This role is only open to current members of staff working within Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.[[br]][[br]]
We are looking for an experienced and talented individual to work with us on this exciting proposal, where our partnership work under the Primary Authority Scheme will be brought together with this new role. The post is subject to Support Services terms and conditions.[[br]][[br]]
The Built Environment changes rapidly in terms of complexity and design. We are looking to provide specialist, fire related information across the built environment, applying scientific and engineering principles (codes) and expert judgement, based on an understanding of the phenomena and effects of fire, the reaction and behaviour of people to fire, to protect people, property and the environment from the destructive effects of fire.[[br]][[br]]
Ideally you will be qualified to L5 Diploma in Fire Safety (Fire Engineering) however if not already qualified, applications will be considered from candidates that possess the Level 4 Diploma in fire safety (Fire Inspector) and can demonstrate continuous professional development in Fire Safety.
Candidates will be required to attend a number of specialist technical courses, some of which may be remote from their base location.[[br]][[br]]
You will lead on the management of the Primary Authority Scheme for the Service and its partners and will develop and assure excellence in the carrying out of Service activities, relating to the delivery of Primary Authority Partnerships [[br]][[br]]
